Post-Nap Lifestyle Session

This kid. He gives me the hardest time when I want to take pictures. Looking away, running off, outright telling me, “No, Mama.” And then, one day, he totally surprises me. One day after nap, he refused to get out of his crib and actually said, “Picture?” (Well, it was more like “pic-tah” but I knew what he meant.) I took one with the Instax and when I went to put the camera down he asked for “more!” So I grabbed my dslr and guess who started posing? He held up his animals, one by one, so they could each have their own portrait. He specifically asked for a “hair pictah” “fee pictah” (feet, we’re working on that final consonant). Of course, I obliged. Who could say no to such a cute subject? Knowing him, this may very well be the one and only time he lets me do so I took advantage and got as many little moments as I could.
